Prompt · Text-to-3D

Describe what you want to change or make, in plain words.

Type what the object should look like, its purpose, size hints, and any details. Velnorix3D generates the mesh and opens it in the Print Studio with dimensions, weight and print time — same tools as the photo workflow.

AI prompt assistant

Write roughly what you want — the assistant rewrites it into a precise, printable description the 3D generator understands.

Real object lookup

For something that already exists in the real world, this identifies the component, finds its true millimetre size, and writes a prompt for that single isolated part — not the machine it belongs to.

Reference photo (optional, recommended)

With a photo attached, the model is reconstructed from that image instead of pure text — far closer to the real object.

Reference views · biggest accuracy jump

Instead of guessing from words, the AI first draws the part from four angles (front, side, back, three-quarter). Keep the pictures that look right, drop the wrong ones, then build the mesh from those views — this is what stops the "suitcase with headlights" results.

Tips

Write prompts that print well

State the purpose
"A wall hook that holds a coat" beats "a nice hook" — function guides shape.
Give a target size
Mention a dimension: "roughly 80 mm tall" or "fits inside a 40 mm cube".
Call out thickness
Ask for walls at least 2 mm thick and rounded edges so the mesh stays printable.
Avoid impossible geometry
Floating parts and thin overhangs won't print. Prefer solid, grounded shapes.
