Photogrammetry · Mesh conversion · Print analysis
From photograph to manufactured object, with engineering-grade feedback.
Velnorix3D reconstructs geometry from a single photo, a multi-angle set, or an existing scan. Every result opens in an interactive workstation with true-scale dimensions, weight and print-time estimates, orientation controls, and a photo-vs-model compare slider so the printed part matches the real thing.

Capabilities
Everything you need between photo and printer
01
Interactive workstation
Orbit, wireframe, and inspect every reconstruction in a real WebGL viewer — not just a thumbnail.
02
True-scale metrics
Bounding box in mm, volume in cm³, filament weight per material, and an FDM print-time estimate.
03
Orientation control
Pitch, yaw and roll sliders bake into the exported STL so the part lands correctly on the build plate.
04
Photo vs model compare
Fade between the source photo and the reconstructed mesh to verify the print matches the real object.
Workflow
How it works
01
Capture
A single photo, a few angles, or an existing scan file.
02
Reconstruct
AI infers geometry and topology; scans are cleaned in-browser.
03
Tune
Set real-world size, orientation, infill and material.
04
Print
Export STL and slice with Cura, PrusaSlicer or Bambu Studio.
Print guide
Field notes for turning a reconstruction into a real part
Keep overhangs under 45°
Rotate the model so the largest flat face lies on the build plate. Anything past 45° needs support material.
Wall thickness ≥ 1.2 mm
Thin walls under three nozzle widths (0.4 mm nozzle × 3) delaminate. Scale up or thicken in a mesh editor.
Match infill to purpose
10–15% for display prints, 20–30% for handles and mounts, 40%+ for load-bearing parts. Match here before slicing.
Compare against the real object
Use the compare slider to verify silhouette and proportion before you print. Re-shoot from missing angles if needed.
